Leap Day Ride
On leap day, it hit 60 in Moab. Time to hit some Slick Rock

Mister Speedy beat me up the 'trail', can you see him?
No? He's right in the middle of the photo.
Wheeew, what a climb!
Can you see him now? Yes, Mister Speedy is Zane.
He's working his way down the slick rock, which is not slick
but almost 100% traction super sticky sand paper rock.
Here I am, nothing but blue sky above, shear cliff below.
The locals call this place, Debinki, which is a wild mix of super deep sand and slick rock. If you're not working to keep from wheelieing over due to tacky traction, you're plowing through wobbling sand feeling much like drunk freshman at an ice skating rink. Here Zane comes down from at attempt to the top. You can see some damned fool dropped this from the top, top. As in, riding off the rock lip and planting it, about 15 vertical feet.
Then we explored Mustang Canyon to the end.
Our rides deeep in Mustang Canyon.
