The arduous journey for Velvet Elvis which started in Cuidad Juarez, winding it's way through Atlanta, down to Amelia Island Fla. will return through Atlanta on it's way to Tupelo, MS and it's final resting place - Graceland.

Departing from Atlanta, Ga. in a Cadillac(s) the trip will take place during one of the following time frames. Departure will be on a Thursday and return on a Sunday.

A journey of this magnitude shall not be undertaken alone, as the way is fraught with peril and delights. Captain Craig will be joined on this mission by several Spuds. Jim and Brian committed to the journey. Jim will head transportation and logistics with Dr. Brian handling communications. The potential journey dates are shown, commit now! Maximum participation will select the final.

With early Elvis blasting, the journey begins in Atlanta Thursday morning, cruising to Tupelo Mississippi, birthplace of the King. Following the birthplace tour, we'll pick up some honey and speed straight to Graceland, in Memphis Tennessee. This journey leg will bring out the more mature Elvis songs like Kentucky Rain and In The Ghetto. We're not stopping, straight through, eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches the entire way!

Velvet Elvis will return home during the Platinum Graceland tour. The rejoicing travellers will then visit as many Elvis related Memphis attractions as humanly possible.
